Wysh — Support

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Wysh is a personal finance planning app published by Vionza. This page answers the questions people ask most. If yours isn't here, write to us.

Contact

Email bahaawael88@gmail.com — please include your iPhone model, your iOS version and what you were doing. Don't send your financial data or screenshots of balances; we can't see your data and don't need it to help.

Your data

Where is my data? On your iPhone. Wysh has no accounts and no Vionza server, so we can't look at, recover or reset your data for you. That also means keeping a backup is up to you.

How do I back up? Open More › Data & Backup and tap Back Up Now. You need to be signed in to iCloud on the iPhone. The backup goes to your own private iCloud account, and only when you tap.

How do I restore on a new iPhone? Install Wysh and, on the welcome screen, tap Restore from iCloud backup. You'll see what the backup contains and confirm before anything is replaced. You can also restore later from More › Data & Backup.

Can I take my data somewhere else? Yes. More › Data & Backup › Export gives you a complete copy (JSON) or a spreadsheet of your transactions (CSV) through the iOS share sheet. It's free and needs no iCloud account.

How do I delete everything? More › Settings › Data › Erase all data. It permanently removes your records, settings, widget summary, reminders and temporary export files from the iPhone and returns Wysh to the welcome screen. It can't be undone. It does not delete an iCloud backup — remove that separately in More › Data & Backup.

Wysh Premium

What does Premium include? Forecasts, scenarios, purchase-affordability checks, loan tools, statement and bank-message import, wealth analysis, the yearly dashboard and the financial assistant. Free includes the core features, and a free allowance of 1 goal and 1 budget. Your records are never hidden or deleted if a subscription ends.

How do I cancel? Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to your Apple Account's subscription settings, or open Wysh Premium in More and tap Manage Subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.

I subscribed but Premium isn't unlocked. Open the Premium screen and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you subscribed with.

I want a refund. Apple handles refunds. Request one at Apple's "Report a Problem" page; we can't issue App Store refunds.

Features

The Home Screen widget says "Open Wysh to set up". Open the Wysh app once; the widget fills in as soon as Wysh has your figures. Add it by touching and holding the Home Screen, tapping Add Widget and choosing Wysh.

The widget says "Figures hidden". That's App Lock doing its job. With App Lock on, the widget shows no figures at all, so nobody can read them from the Home Screen. Turn App Lock off in More › Data & Backup › Privacy to see them again.

I'm not getting payment reminders. Check More › Payment reminders is on, and that notifications are allowed for Wysh in iOS Settings › Notifications › Wysh. Wysh reminds you 7 days before a bill is due, and again 1, 3 and 7 days after if it is still unpaid. Recording a payment, or skipping it, cancels the reminders that no longer apply. If you open Wysh rarely, reminders only cover the next few weeks.

My reminders don't show amounts. With App Lock on, reminders leave amounts out so they can't be read on a locked screen.

What is App Lock? Optional. It locks Wysh whenever it's closed or sent to the background and uses Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. Your device passcode is always accepted as a fallback, so a failed scan can't lock you out. Wysh never receives your face, fingerprint or passcode. We can't reset a forgotten iPhone passcode — that's Apple's.

What does "overdue" mean? A bill whose due date has passed and that you haven't paid in full or skipped. It's held back from safe-to-spend until you record the payment, or tap Skip this payment if you paid another way. Part payments are fine — what's still owed stays reserved.

Why isn't my US-dollar account in my totals? Wysh never converts between currencies. Anything not in your primary currency is left out of totals rather than guessed at, and the app tells you when that's happening. You can change your primary currency in More › Settings; existing records keep the currency they were entered in.

Can Wysh connect to my bank? No. Wysh never connects to a bank. You enter information yourself, or import a bank SMS you paste in or a CSV statement file you choose (Premium). That happens entirely on your iPhone.

A reminder

Wysh is a planning tool, not financial, tax or legal advice, and its forecasts are projections, not promises. See the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
